I have about 10 packets of champagne yeast, was wondering if I needed to store them in the fridge or if they're ok in the cupboard. They are all unopened and the house is around 75-80 degrees.

Dry yeast can last quite a while but refrigerating will increase its lifespan as opposed to leaving it at room temp.

My LHBS keeps theirs on the shelf. I asked about it one time and the guy said it sold fast enough that he didn't worry about the shelf life. I bought a 25 pack of Lalvin wine yeast and I decided to keep those in the refrigerator since I will run through them slowly.

Ok in the fridge they go. Not sure when I'll get around to using them all and if the cold cant hurt them then all the better. Thanks everyone.
