Before the chaos of this virus I took advantage of a St. Patty’s day sale and got 2 kits. This was mid March. I haven’t brewed them I brew with a buddy and most of the equipment is at his house. For obvious reasons I am not going to anyone’s house. Do I need to do anything g special to store? It was from Northern Brewer so I know it was pretty fresh. Probably won’t be able to brew till this crap is over.
Thanks.

i’d refridge the yeast and freeze the hops. keep everything in the sealed bags. should be okay for a few months at least.

hmmm. i personally have kept dry malt extract around for many months with no issue. would assume liquid extract has several months’ shelf life.

i store dry yeast in the fridge for - you guessed it - many months with no issues. you’ll be fine!

What about the malt extract?
Is it dry or liquid extract?
In either case, keep it in a cool spot, preferably dry. Especially DME - if it gets damp it'll clump up and turn into a rock solid lump.
Dry yeast isn't as vital to keep cold as liquid, but I would still recommend storing it in the fridge. Doesn't hurt it at all.
