When can we expect to see the brahs follow suit and do something similar and go do "business" at the stone brewery abroad?
I feel history could very well repeat itself.

Well, if you spend the 30K, you might get to do this at Greg's house:

He looks like a bankrupted Steve Jobs.

FYI, The FullPint.com is trying to get some feedback about Stone's announcement for an article (I guess):

(From their FB page)
We would like to get your feedback on Stone Brewing Co's latest announcement of a brewery in Berlin Germany, and them using crowd funding company IndieGoGo. Please send in well thought out feedback to [email protected] . Interesting, well put thoughts will be published on The Full Pint.

They could just do the normal "beer media" thing and come into this thread, pull quotes, and attribute them to our usernames.

"well thought out feedback" is what beer nerds on the internet are known for

I would like to point out what Arbitrator said. Stone has done this in the past here is a link to what you received for your donations 9 years ago

Now don't get me wrong here boys and girls. I am with you on the panhandling but lay off their beers. If you want to pick on huge breweries churning out mediocre beer look at Sierra Nevada, New Belgium and Founders
I like almost all of their beers, and consider a few to be benchmarks of their respective styles (IPA, Ruination, SSRA, IRS, Cal-Belgique). But I also wouldn't pile on NB, SN, or Founders for their beer quality.
