Stone Collab: Japanese Green Tea IPA

This beer is good. I'm a huge fan of IPA's and also of Stone.
The nose is different. I dont really smell green tea, but it's an unfamiliar scent. This beer dry hops with Sorachi Ace and I believe this is the first beer I've had using it, so thats what I'm guessing the nose is.
The taste is good, its bitter, its hoppy, its different but it works. This beer is strong, 9.2%, and although it has no heat from the alcohol and is very smooth to drink, I still know I'm drinking a big beer.
All in all, I was excited to try this one when I heard about Stone brewing it and I wasn't disapointed. Stone rocks :rockin:

That beer is one of my new favorites. Most people I know who have tried it are hooked, it's a shame it's a one time release. It came out much better than their Cherry Chocolate Stout they released recently.

Nice. Is this limited.? Ive only been able to get the basics.And a good amount of the bombers. Ive heard good things about it. Then again im noticing a trend of high rated/ high alcohol beer i rarely spotted out any that are not so praised.Just a thought. Meaning high alcohol= high rating. Just an observation ,latley.
