ok so i'm making a stirr plate from a CPU fan, a model train power pack, and some magnets. also a bunch of other crap i have laying around. Got this from seabee john. it cost me $3 for the magnets. thats a little cheaper than the real thing. So here's everything together.http://

Next i added a few strips of pine to adjust the height to about 3/16" above the magnets.http:https://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/gallery/data/1/liid-spacers.jpg

Then i set the cover in position clamped it and put the hardware back on. the pine strips left a nice opening at the ends for air in and i drilled air holes on the bottom so should be fine. i will put some cork feet on it too. just to keep it smooth. Time for another pinthttps://cdn.homebrewtalk.com/gallery/data/1/thumbs/finished.jpg
