Has anyone ever not watched the hot break like a hawk? You will end up with a sticky mess all over you kitchen.

I got into brewing because I was not old enough to purchase alcohol but I was savvy enough to purchase a Mr. Beer Kit. Years later I moved down the street from Doctor Emmet Brown AKA DOC BROWN who was a mad scientist when it came to brewing. We made multiple styles and sometimes pulled the water tables from Prague because you know.. science.

Took a few years off of brewing but excited to start again. Looking forward to making some haters out of the professionals and challenging local breweries to throw down the gauntlet for some taste tests.

Friends, that was what's called a provocative statement! I'm glad it caught your eyes. But no, I have not added a sugar coating to any flooring (lately).

Prior to my grain father, I have used orange 5gal Gatorade coolers jerry-rigged with false bottoms for sparge tanks and turkey fryer's for kettles. Did anyone else start with the all in one stove-top kits?

I've learned that if you lower your pre-boil pH to 5.2 or less, you don't have to worry about boil overs anymore and you get clearer beer.

I'm less certain regarding the throwing of gauntlets.
I often add clarity firm for my gluten-intolerant friends, that mixed with a cold crash usually made super clear draughts.
