Steady Hydro readings but Krausen won't drop?

I'm curious whether I can go ahead and keg or should let my beer sit longer? I brewed a 1.053 pale ale that has been fermenting for 8 days now.

I started it in a chamber at 67 degrees for a 2 days then raised it a degree a day to 72 where it has been sitting for the past few days.

I used WLP 002 yeast and the Hydro reading has been 1.011 for a 2 days now but the krausen in one of my buckets is still pretty thick.

What would you do?

Let it sit for a couple more weeks, it will fall.

It's funny how yeast differs from one ale to the next, I've had some finish in 7 days and others take 2 + weeks

Give it time to finish. I've found quick fermentations to be estery and exibit off flavors. If you're in a hurry head down to your local bottle shop and buy a bomber of great local craft beer.

My wits with bottle harvest hoegaarden yeast averages about 3 weeks with krausens, even though the hydro readings show terminal gravity has been reached.

It will fall eventually.
