How important is starter temperature. It’s been slowly climbing since this morning. Turning on the AC now.
 
You’re trying to grow yeast. Optimum temp for growth is somewhere around. 32C or 90ish degrees. You’re fine.

I’d just crash and decant if I was you.
 
Second on that, temp is not a real concern for starters. I leave mine on a counter in a dark room
 
I leave mine on the stir plate(s) @ room temperature which in my house is 74-75°F.
I’ve never had an issue.
I do temper the yeast in my ferm chamber before pitching.
