Hi guys. This is my first time stepping up a starter and I have.a question. So Monday I brewed the wort for the first step of the starter and for the step up (1 and 1.6 L) Yesterday it appeared fermentation was complete so I proceeded to cold crash it so I can decant the spent wort. Right now I have both, the starter and the wort for the step up in the fridge. Should I decant the starter and then wait for both to come to room temp and then add the new wort to it? Or is it ok to just decant, add the wort and put on the stir plate since they're both at the same temperature. Thanks guys =D

You can decant, add the cold wort to the cold yeast and let it rip. As it warms up, the yeast will come to life and get to work on that fresh wort.
