I put a bottle of starsan in a bag with some carbonating beer bottles and some ingredient packs. When I was taking my things out, I noticed that there was something dark and sticky on the labels and on my beer bottles. The source was the starsan bottle, and I concluded that I had a leak around the cap.

Is it safe to drink the beer in the bottles that touched the undiluted starsan? It may have touched the caps on the bottles, so would it be safe to drink the beer if I rise the bottles first?

Should I throw out the ingredient packs. The starsan touched the plastic wrapping around my grains and hops, and I don't think that anything actually got through. Is it worth the risk to use these ingredient packs?

It's a moderate-strength acid before mixing, so rinse everything off with water to dilute it. It won't hurt the beer inside the capped bottles. It also won't go through most plastics.
