Guys

I washed my HLT with 1 oz of starsan but only used like 3gl of water then I just empty the water and forgot to rinse it since it was too concentrated. when i was doing my sparge i noticed alot of startsan in my brew pot. I started to remove them with a spoon but I dont know if I ruined my batch. is this going to affect the taste of the beer?

Also another question. My SG was 1.060 after boil and chilled my temp was 85f how do i find out the find alc volume?

That all depends on how much was in the beer. If it was a lot, you could end up with a soapy flavor at the end. If it was a little, you probably won't notice it.

You can't get an accurate ABV reading until you know your final gravity, but you can get an estimated one. First, you'll need to adjust your gravity because your hydrometer is calibrated to take accurate readings only at 60F. Look up gravity conversion calculators for that. Then you you can punch your OG into a program like BeerTools Pro, ProMash, BeerSmith, etc. to get your estimated ABV.
