9.6 lb light malt extract
3/4 Munich malt
1 lb crystal 20
6 oz black malt
3 oz chocolate malt
2 lb honey
2 oz fuggle hops
1 oz hallertaur hops
2 pk Nottingham yeast
3/4 corn sugar and 1/4 sry yeast for bottling.

OG 1.090 targeting to hit FG 1.071

This brew is still in the primary waiting to be moved into the secondary and sit for 2-4 months before bottling. This one is going to be hard to not drink before it's finished. It smells awesome. This is the White House honey porter that I tweaked a lil to get a more bold flavor and a higher alcohol content.

I will. Did a reading today and my gravity was 1.019. That calculated to 9.3 %. So I'm excited I tasted it and it was really good.
 
I'm planning to do an Imperial honey porter too :

8,6 Kg Marris Otter
3,6 Kg german munich
0,9 Kg Flaked Wheat
0,9 Kg Crystal 70L
0,454 Kg Special B
0,454 Kg Chocolate malt
0,9 Kg Honey (at flameout)

4 pkg WLP007 yeast

4 oz Horizon (10,50%) at 60 min.
3 oz Willamette (5,20%) at 15 min.

Boiling time 90 min.
Batch size 11 Gal.
OG : 1.088
FG : 1.012
IRM : 27,58
IBU : 74
Primary 21 @ 66.F
