Using our new tilt for the first time. Brewed another classic cream ale and testing out the WLP080 yeast. Best before date was 7/15/18, so I made a 1.6l starter for our 5.5g batch. Yeast got after it pretty quick and seems to have stalled out after 5 days with apparent attenuation of 65% well below the 75-80 that’s characteristic of the hybrid strain. As a result our ABV is coming in low. Should I raise the temp of fermenter? Throw in some more yeast? Wait? Place a Bluetooth speaker playing “ear drink and be merry” next to the fermenter?

Check out the tilt graph

Update, checked out the Krausen, it’s looking good. I think (as usual) I’m experiencing impatient paranoia
