I got a stainless steel pint for Christmas. What's the deal with these? Are they mainly for keeping your beer cold?
 
Keep it in the freezer until you pour a pint, then it will be nice and frosty. Just don't stick anything wet to it unless it warms slightly....lol

Maybe if you're drinking some cheep BMC or something like that. Otherwise a frosted mug is a terrible idea for craft brews.
 
I use an insulated stainles one in the summer, it is amazing how long it will keep beer cold in warm weather (compared to a glas pint).
 
It's is double walled. I've been waiting to brew my first lager. Now that I have a brew fridge & freezer, I'll have to make it hapoen. Thanks for the responses.
 
I've got a Kleen Kanteen stainless steel pint and I love it. I take it everywhere with me and it never gets damaged.
