Ssbrewtech heat exchanger

Appologize in advance if i am in the wrong thread. Search did not find anything.
I was just curious if anyone has heard anything about ssbrewtechs new plate and frame heat exchanger? What interested me most was that it is easily taken apart and put back together for deep cleanings. Maybe I am just paranoid but i still neber fully trust my current heat exchanger even after sitting in the oven.

I haven't seen or heard any updates beyond the 3V system & "coming soon" announcement on their 20 gallon eKettles (February 5) or the 1/5hp chiller email (February 17).

Though that did get me to look at their workshop page again- looks like they added prototype pictures for their single vessel system since I last checked.

This was my info as well. With the time taken to bring product to market, it pressed me to find other options available as it would likely be many months, up to a year, with no certain timeline on availability.

Have you considered a counterflow chiller as an alternate option that avoids clogging / sanitation issues associated with plate chillers? I went with a Northern Brewer SS CFC, which also has minimum blockage / pressure drop for recirc cooling (live in the south with warm ground water).

I'm from up north. I would like my homebrew setup to be as close to a professional setup i work with every day. I also like that i can store the plate chiller easier then a CFC or IC. I did not recieve either of the emails mentioned above. If possible a link to the email or a pm so it could be forwarded would be greatly appreciated. I looked into the sabco Heatx and didnt like that the gaskets were not reusable.
