I can get some fresh clean spring water in the coast range by where I live just wondering if it would be good to use in an all grain batch

My friend exclusively uses spring water from a spring behind the Marine Corps League here on Staten Island. His beers always come out awesome. Do it for sure, you have a true local beer.

You could always send a sample off to Ward Labs to make sure there is nothing harmful in the water.
