Some friends of mine just built a Buddha bar in their backyard and are planning a grand opening party for Memorial Day weekend. Another friend and I are thinking of brewing up a batch of beer for the party as a surprise. We want to do a split a batch, with half racked onto chiles(either Thai or Habenaro). Any suggestions for the other half? We were thinking something sweet or citrusy (kaffir lime leaves, honey, etc) that would oppose the chile heat. Any suggestions or previous experiences are much appreciated. Cheers

Forgot to add that we are planning to do a pale ale, and want to keep it approachable for a wider range of palates., so nothing that is big and too over-the-top hoppy (we are in San Diego). Cheers
