I have been noticing quite a bit of spiders on my first year Williamette plant here lately. I'm just letting them go hoping they will eat some pests that want to chow down on some leaves.

Is it ok to let them chill on the plant and make webs here and there? I don't see any short term damage by them but I didn't know if I shld leave them be or not.

Cheers!

No just regular web slinging spiders that string webs between leaves and such. I haven't seen any damage other than from japanese beetles and an occasional silk worm.
