Speaking of Brown Ale...

The recipe calls for:
7# Ultralight LME
.5# Crystal 60L
.5# Honey Malt
4 oz Chocolate Malt

1 oz NB @60
2 oz Cascade @10
1 oz Cascade @ 1

I have the NB and I have 1 oz Cascade.. So, I need the flavoring hops

If the LBS doesn't have the Cascade.. what would you recommend? They have a lot of Amarillo

I would look for Amarillo, Ahtanum, or centennial. Citra could be good also, but will be a bit different from Cascade.

Yes, as mentioned, they have a bunch of Amarillo.. I bought an ounce.. maybe I ought to wait until next week when the new supply arrives and keep the Amarillo for some other time.

I believe centennial is supposed to be some sort of super cascade.
