The turkey fryer I just bought came with a 30 qt aluminum pot. I know I can't use it to boil the wort, but can I use it to boil my sparge water?

Boil water in it for 30 minutes to build up the oxide layer on it. This seals the metal away from the acidic wort when boiling.
