Hello this is Nick (a Dam Engineer on the Ohio River)
I started homebrewing back in Jan of 2007. I had a friend that stashed his homebrew kit at my place while his parents were moving him home from college. I let it sit here about 3 months and the temptation overtook me. Mostly I have been doing "Brewers Best" kits and a couple extract kits. so far no bad batches (had one that was a little "thin" from too much water)
Some people think I have a sickness when they see the 10+ cases in my kitchen and living room. I just wish I could still get the deposit bottles any more.
Mostly I just have the basic "Ale Pail" kit with a jet washer for cleaning bottles. Looking to get a wort chiller and a bottle tree soon (maybe before my next batch)
PS does anyone know of a good HB supply in far southern IL area? (Carbondale, Marion, Paducah, Cape?)
