Anyone tried this ??

I use a 1/2" copper manifold with slits in the bottom of the pipes in my rectangular mash tun, and it works pretty well.

Thought about the same design but in a ring form that hugs the sides of the kettle.

Will it work, or will it clog with hops/break material ??

waste of time/money

Thanks for opinions

I've built one, with over 100 small holes drilled into the bottom. It plugs every time, even with a whirlpool. So....I then put a stainless braid all around it, guess what?
Still plugs up. However I'm wondering if slots would be better than holes?
I guess I should try it again.

was planning on slits, just like my mash tun manifold.
