Yikes! I was watching a show on the discovery channel or something about India. Apparently, newlywed couples bring a cow into the house until it drops a present on the floor which is thought to bless the house. Cow manure is also used to scrub floors. And there is some kind of ritual where they eat a mixture of milk, cow urine and cow manure. Sorry, I can't remember the specifics of the ritual but wow.

I saw this article this morning on fox and threw up in my mouth a little bit. Although, in perspective, I think some foods in other cultures are equally if not more unappealing.

Not as bad as where this stuff comes from

You can't get Steak and Kidney Pie over there???

I've had it here, at an English-themed pub, albeit accidentally. I had actually ordered steak and mushroom pie, and was wondering why the mushrooms seems a little rubbery when the Liverpoolian barkeep told me he had written down my order wrong, automatically assuming "kidney". At that point I had eaten half of it, so it's not bad or anything.

Granted, I have also eaten other somewhat weird stuff before, like pork brains.

American's as a rule suck at eating. If it doesn't come from a chain restaurant 80% of the population is scared of it.

Who wants to join my coalition against chain restaurants?

Steak and kidney pie is awesome.
