Soda keg - quick connect stuck

Hi there,

I've got a problem I'm hoping you can help me with. I believe I have stuck a quick connect fitting for a soda keg on the wrong side. I've tried everything but haven't been able to remove it. Does anyone have any tips and tricks?

squirt some mineral oil up in there. Is there beer in the keg? If not, try some WD-40, etc. It will come off. I've put a gas fitting on the liquid before. It was a PITA to get off, but it came off.

Done it a couple times... brute force is all I can tell ya!!!

Just had this happen to me, and found this thread with a solution that worked real easy!

I used the claw part from a claw hammer to gently pry the disconnect up while pulling up on the release ring.
