Working on a recipe for a La Fin Du Monde brew I might make this weekend. Let see... Anyone have a good clone recipe I might be able to borrow from?

I'll be brewing something this tomorrow night. I don't know exactly what yet, but it will be 10 gallons and will definitely include summit hops since I have a pound in the freezer.

Going to join the ranks of fellow home brewers with my first batch saturday. Then making a batch of ApfelWein as soon as my other carboy comes in on Monday.

SWMBO isn't much of a beer fan so I've been scouring the forums and other sites trying to find things that maybe she will enjoy. I think she will really like the Apfelwein. Also have another kit coming so that when I rack saturday's brew to the secondary, I can start my next batch. Oh what a great year 2013 is going to be!!!!

Welcome and good luck!

Right now I'm about 15 minutes into the boil on my Irish Red Ale. This is my first brew in 2013 and it'll be ready for St. Patty's day.

My last brew of 2012 was a Vanilla Porter and it should be ready for the Super Bowl.

I just love brewing specific beers for specific events!!

Hoping to brew an AG Jamil's Evil Twin recipe today. Wanted to brew yesterday, but somewhere in between grumpy SWMBO and the daily grind it did not happen...wish me luck for today!

I was going to this morning pre-football, but the local homebrew shop was closed early both Thursday and Friday, both days I didn't find out till I got there.

I was at least a little annoyed by this fact.

No brew this weekend, but I'm bottling my brown ale that was my second brew I have made since starting home brewing using all grain.

Doing 10 gallons of Janet's Brown tomorrow. Have never had it before, so I am looking forward to this one.

Had everything ready to go but my boil off when it's 7 degrees out is too much for this new AG brewer. Did bottle my wheat and esb.

That is my downfall lately as a newer AG brewer. I measured my boil off at 87 degrees, the last brew I made (Christmas eve) it was 50 degrees and I boiled off half a gallon less. (BTW, it's 70 degrees now, haha)

Brewed the "Common Room ESB" this morning (recipe from this site). It was my first experience with both First Wort Hopping and flameout hops.

Tomorrow, I'm brewing Yooper's Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA clone, although I'm subbing Caraaroma for the Aromatic malt (it's only 6 ounces, I'm hoping it won't make too big a difference). I'll be my first dry-hopped brew.

First brew this year. Edwort's IPA grain bill with Lagunitas IPA hop schedule.
