This morning it's a Blonde Ale (AG). Starter is already frothing over. Tomorrow it's plowing through my stash of Stout at brother-in-laws house.

Sunday, it's a Dusseldorf Altbier (AG)...using a secondary kolsch harvest from back in February.

i had a major brew week last week... this weekend its everything into secondary, then I'm flying out to San Jose for a week, coming back and kegging everything, then flying to Boca Raton for a week, then coming back to Jersey and I'm gonna drink it all. (well... eventually).

When I get back from vacation i'll cook up some stouts... triple extreme coffee and possibly more german chocolate :)

Thinking about doing Irish Draught Ale kit I got from Northern Brewer back when I ordered my Shirron faucets. Depends on SWMBO - if she doesn't want to go out for St. Pattie's then I'm probably going to brew.

Which yeast do you prefer for your Blonde ale? I had a blonde ale recently that was very grapefruit-juice-like in its hop profile and was light, it was really swillable and yet a nice beer at the same time. Wish I could reproduce it myself. Hope yours goes well - 2 batches planned sounds like you have a nice leisure weekend!

last week was my CT Common, the Week before that was my third attempt at a 60 min IPA clone, this weekend is blackstrap porter.

I'm using a Wit yeast I harvested off my Belgian Wit last night. It's the one on the left... The one on the right is my Kolsch I harvested from a secondary back in February.

Saturday - off to Chicago for St. Paddy's Day.
Sunday - Our first AG, an Irish Red ... what else??

wish us luck!

I'm brewing a Saison Dupont clone today immediately after work. The starter was fermented out as of last night: went in the fridge this morning before work to settle out. It's always nice when the timing is perfect. I made my invert sugar last night...rarin' to go.

I have to rack the new 1/4 round floor molding to the secondary.
Dry hop the electrical connections and complete the wiring for the loft closet.
Brew the new backsplash to the new countertop in the new kitchen.

No brewing for me this wekend, just being the good family man around the house. Building up the brownie points...

Might be racking my IPA to secondary if it calms down (pacman is going to town on this one!)

How do you guys brew twice during the weekend? I'm beat afte one brew session..Hopefully next weekend I will be brewing my first AG; an amber ale.

Yup, I've had those kinds of "sessions" before - it'll pay off in numerous ways!

I'll be working all night for St. Pattys  but I'm pulling the trigger on an AG variation dreamt up with the help of Torchiest's apple jackhammer thread. I got a bunch of nice American white wheat grain and a shipment of fresh hops from 7 Bridges....alls I gots to do is go grab the yeast at the LHBS and find meself some apple juice!

Tonight's my first AG hefeweissen
Tomorrow's a strawberry ale (AG)
Sunday's a pale ale (AG)

(the strawberry and the pale are the same recipe...just adding strawberrys to one....it's the first recipe i came up with on my own!)

I think: keg the 1909 Mild and toss the Bent Rod Rye on the cake. Once that's done, I'll clean the yeast up a bit & put the 3CPA on. That will leave the Brown Porter in the queue.

Aaannnnd...done.

My Belgian Blonde Ale, sitting on top of my Belgian Wit Yeast cake. Believe it or not, I dropped this carboy...full.

Just kind of got away from me as I was lifting up on this bench. Fortunately, I didn't actually lose grip until it was 6 inches off the ground.

Thankfully, I followed my own advice and had a swatch of carpet under the area...otherwise...you wouldn't be looking at this picture.

That is one hell of a blow-off tube. What size is it that fits right into the 6.5 carboy without a stopper or top?

New primary from LHBS, brewing AHS IPA I on Sat., picked up How to Brew by Palmer!!!
Pumped up!!!

Good luck to everyone brewing.

No brewing this weekend... Transferring last weekends IPA to secondary!!!
I need to figure out something to brew next weekend!

:mug:

It was a little warm here for St. Patty's Day so I waited until 10 PM to start brewing. Brewed up my Obsidian Clone and attempted a Mirror Pond Clone all the while enjoying gold medal winning brews from the past competition.
