let me know what you think... if i should change up the hop schedule or how retarded i am :fro:?

I'd be interested to know if this is really all that different from a 100+ ibu IIPA... like could one really tell the difference between 100 and 200 ibu?

Also, be sure to account for the water absorption from all of those hops. I overlooked this when I brewed my first big IPA and I only ended up with about 4.75 gal or so (I was shooting for 5.5)

Let us know how this goes.

oh yeah, i figure about 1/2- 3/4 gallon for water absorption from previous amounts known

that is one of the things i really am trying to test... as well... if i can tell 100+ or not...

I'd be saving a lot more hops for dry hopping as that could turn out to be so bitter that the only thing that will save you is more dry hopping. Of course a lot depends on your water chemistry as well.

Theoretically almost impossible to get over 100 IBUs.

This was a challenge on BYOB TV and the closest they got was to 93 IBUs, IIRC.
