... and managed to get my beer QD stuck on my air post. Try as I might, I can't get it off. Any suggestions? I managed to get the air post off the keg, but can't figure out where this thing is stuck.

Plasma torch....

OJ if that doesn't work for ya, I used extra muscle and yanked it off.

I prefer my pin-locks thanks...

yeah you are going to have to pry it off, its a pain in the ass , i had a buddy do that to one of my kegs once damn near naver got it off there.

You could pull up on the outer ring and have someone else pry it off with a screwdriver or lift up on the outer ring and try to pry out the wire ring (think snap ring) that holds in the ball bearings.

Once the ring's out the balls will fall out and release their hold.

I used a large adjustable wrench as a lever against the rubber handle of the corny. Just adjust the opening of the wrench to fit around the outer ring and voila!

Yeah, it's a brute force thing. That's why I use red rings on the gas plugs and black on the beverage. Haven't made that mistake since.

I recommend screwing the post back into the keg first. Better leverage and no chance of damaging the threads.

I remember when I did that. Sigh. Straddled the keg like I was a cowgirl and tugged as hard as I could.

(Yeah I did.)

I think every kegger does that once. Pull up on the QD, curse like hell and see if you can slip something under the ring to give you the leverage to pry it off.

Then, mark the gas side clearly. :)
