worked all day yesterday and couldn't get to lhbs for yeast. i'm going to rack a blonde to secondary and use the slurry/cake for an irish red. so how much slurry should i use. oh, 5 gallon batch. thanks
Mr. Malty (http://www.mrmalty.com/calc/calc.html) has a calculator for repitching from slurry. Just enter the OG of your irish red and hit calculate. I've never used this, but this is where I would start.
