well I just ordered 1lb of each Simcoe and Citra. I plan on using them quickly, and probably giving a 4oz of each to a buddy since my freezer is already stuffed full.
I just ordered a pound of Simcoe pellets from NB.com. I needed a couple other maintenance items so it worked out well. $18.99/1lb or $1.18/ounce aint too bad!
Cheers,
Anyone know if Northernbrewer's Simcoe Pellets are from the 2011 crop?
I would say then that the labelpeelers simcoe is 2010 crop. Packaging, alpha, and beta was exactly the same as the packs I just got from northern brewer.
These were from Label Peelers even though it says Hop Union right??
It would appear as if I now have a MASSIVE amount of hops. Some are tight packed (glacier) while others not (simcoe, sorachi).
Lookin' GOOOOOOOOOD

Northern brewer has them for $18.99. W/$7.99 flat rate shipping. Mine are coming 2 day saturday delivery... Love NB!
NB is out of stock of the 1lb size according to their website.
Fresh Hops is showing 2011 Simcoe leaf (limit 16 oz) for $2.30 per oz or $36.80 per lb which is pricey but available...
Brew Tensil's has simcoe back in stock for $18.50/.lb. Hops
Wow. I've noticed it on their site over the last couple weeks at $1.60/oz i think. I just looked again this morning to see if they still had it and it was not listed at all. Now it's back at $2.30. Yikes!
