Show us your pot holders (heat pads, trivets, etc) Cork? Silicone?

So I'm looking into having custom cork pads made and laser burned with a logo, or screen printed. Then I thought maybe large silicone pads...

What are you using?

How are they holding up?

I had cheap cork ones I bought from IKEA. Worked fine, but I'm a messy brewer and spilled stuff on them, got a bit gnarly. I'd recommend silicone personally for washability... I've never used any though.

That's sort of why I'm thinking silicone. Probably impossible to screenprint or customize, but they'll last forever and will be super easy to clean.

Something like this would be awesome, if it came in 14"-18" sizes...

I dig it. A buddy of mine suggested I plane down slivers of a tree trunk.

Logo would be a cool wood burning project.
