I've been lurking for a while and decided I really ought to join. I live in Chicago, but am working on moving to Ireland in the near future.
The information on this site has been extremely helpful and I hope that eventually I will be able to offer some help in some way.
I've been brewing for about a year, but am learning fast! I'm into the DIY aspect of it and I've built a MLT, immersion chiller, installed a spigot on a kettle, and am working on an automatic mid-mash/mid-boil heat control system (using an old interior heating and air temp control panel).
I'm also on BA under the same username.
