Given that you are supposed to refrigerate a beer for 2 weeks to full absorb carbonation (which I never do, I'm lucky to get 24 hours)... if it's going to be dropped off for a competition, should you refrigerate before dropping it off?

Does it matter, given that it's just going to sit around in some store/house for a few weeks before the competition?

Do they refrigerate before serving at the competition?

Thanks!

i like to store my beer under refridgeration rather than at room temps. i think i get crisper, cleaner beers. So i reridgerate my beers for several weeks before sending into a compitition. My beers are already carbed through, as i fill my bottles from my kegerator. I think you are best to allow your beers to carb for 2 weeks i you are going to enter them into compitions, then chill them ifyou prefer.
