I'm going to use my first washed yeast tomorrow. I smelled it and it smells hoppy. From my last beer. Is it okay to use? I'm using it for another IPA.

The yeast will retain some hop aroma since all of the hop debris can't be rinsed out. Okay to use. The amount of aroma retained will not be noticeable in the next brew even if a different hop is used.

I've used yeast from an IPA that hasn't been rinsed in an amber without noticeable effect. The hop debris can help prevent infection in harvested yeast that is stored for awhile.
