Should I prime my cider?

I just finished a batch of Drunken emu hard cider. I have never done a hard cider but I have done a batch of Apfelwien, which I did prime and turned out well. Do I or should I prime my hard cider before bottling?

There is no difference between hard cider and apfelwein. Apfelwein is just the german language word for it.
