Expecting a single, cherished bottle of special aged brew from a certain someone. He made a drunken promise, and I thought he'd forgotten. I was cool with that until I got a surprise PM stating that he intended to make good on the offer. My mailbox is still empty.

Oh...and if I'm the intended recipient of any of these "boots in the ass," send me a PM. I may have just plain forgotten about something.

Me too, and I even let him off the hook because it has to cross a border but he still wanted to send me one! I don't mind though, because he certainly doesn't owe me anything. It's not like I sent something and didn't get anything back.

It was so much easier when I was working and could utilize the shipping department at my former company.

I am suppose to be sending him some also, they are in Canada I believe. I asked him if he had tried going directly to the source requesting from the brewers and he said they were going to try that, but I never heard if they had any luck.

I never got brews from someone in a beer swap last year. On the flipside of that, one of the boxes of brew I sent out in the same beerswap got denied at the person's door because a bottle broke(even though it was really well packed, I hate Fedex) I said I'd send out some more but haven't done it yet. I swear that I will though, just need to bottle something instead of kegging everything

FWIW, Todd, I'm pretty sure I didn't get all my loot from last year's FFB. But I have no way to substantiate that and have no way to even be sure about it, it's just a funny feeling.......

Wow, this is the first I have seen this groovy thread. I reached out and sent someone several of cases of swing top grolsch style bottles for FREE (aside from the shipping). They were supposed to send me some of their beer. I'm really not expecting them to come clean since they were kinda douchie about the whole thing.

I feel better that your laggin on RIS, because I'm laggin on RIS and you are on my list. Mine is all boxed up, it will go out today to my RIS people.

I also feel like I owe Yuri a little more SS. It was my first swap, and although I met the requirments of the swap, what I received was much better than I gave. When I see something special for him, I will make it up (probably while I'm traveling).
