Hi. Just got my hardware in the mail to build by through the door kegerator.
I have a style of shank without a built in tailpece. I'm a little confused at the assembly. If I have it correctly it's tailpiece>washer>shank and the hex nut holds it together. Is that right?
It just seems weird to me that there's this appreciable gap between the tail piece and shank. I feel like that would cause a lot of turbulence and foaming issues or something. Like there should be something that connects the tailpece to the inside of the shank.
Am I missing something?
