I'm no atheist scientist, but...
i think it's a valid point.
extra stout is the only guinness i'll drink. and definitely not extra cold.

I've been here for a month or so and I already to know to check the thread author for a stupd piss and moan "I need attention" thread....
i think it's a valid point.
I have nothing to add to this thread other than I laugh when people think Guiness is a "high alcohol" beer because it's "dark."

I think it's a valid point too. These trolling accusations are trolling in themselves.
It's blatant marketing to those who don't care what they drink as long as it's ice cold. Sure, it's a personal choice to drink whatever you want, and at what temp, but Guinness has always got my back up with their pandering.
Isn't Guinness the biggest by volume beer made in the world? It would seem they are doing something right. I like it and I like it COLD!
It could be a valid point...if the original poster left any room for discussion whatsoever in the original post, or if he posted in the mindless mumblings forum........
5.
A and B. OP STARTS TYPING IN ALL CAPS SAYING HE HAS NO EMOTION INVESTED IN THE DEBATE AND THAT HE IS LAUGHING AT ANGRY PEOPLE SINCE HE APPARENTLY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE TOPIC.
6. OP continues to dig himself into hole, thread dies or mods shut it down
I can post those 8 + examples if you wish...each thread is the same
PLEASE!! I HAVE NO EMOTIONS AT ALL!!!!! STOP BEING MEAN!!!! I WAS BORN WITH NO EMOTIONS!!!!AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
If you put your heart and soul into crafting a great grilled steak, would you suggest "serve it ice cold" just because the BMC crowd likes their steak "cold filtered"...?
If you painted your masterpiece, would you suggest people "view it through jello" just because that seems to be the latest fad?
If you could sell more of them that way because people liked cold steak - yep.
Than can I ask what was the point of posting this under the discussion board? Were you looking for a quick "Yay man I agree with you!"? (AKA attention/cool points)
(here comes his defense mechanism...apathy)
Honestly, I thought that there would be people surprised to learn about this little advice on the label. I thought DISCUSSION would ensue.
(I'm not a frequent guinnesser remember, I'm glad I never knew this was on their crappy label)
Let me make my stand clear.
If you really care about your work, and then recommend that people use it in a manner that will detract from it's quality, just to make money, that is your choice, but if you do.......
YOU JUST SOLD THE **** OUT.

But that's kinda the whole point. They are compromising their integrity by pandering to the existing market of cold beer drinkers with little regard to their product.
I'm sure there would be an extraordinary fuss if German lager bottles carried advertising to drink the beer warm.

Hmm. If someone makes winemaking equipment, and someone here decides it's usable for brewing as well (perhaps not ideal, but cheap and effective) and that manufacturer puts something on their website saying "works for brewing beer as well" - are they "selling the **** out?"
. Of course everyone will drink it at whatever temp they like, it's a free country after all.
Am I compromising my integrity by drinking my Terminator clone cold? I mean, it may not be "correct" but I like it that way.
It's just an opinion, and opinions are like a third nipple we all have one! (We DO all have one? Don't we? Please don't tell me I'm the only one)![]()
You only have three?
so, guinness is officially dark and thick? Hmm that rhymes with, and describes michael vick!
Guinness supports dog fights! The bastards!
