Security Camera Systems

I am looking for anyone that has some experience with home security camera systems. I am only looking for possibly a four camera system, and I am open to any suggestions. I have been researching and it seems there are quite a few options and all seem to run hot and cold in regards to reviews.

Does anyone have a system currently installed with some pro's and con's they can offer?

I bought the Q-See 428 system from Costco for $299. It looks like it is now at $249. Hopefully I'll get it installed this weekend. It's not something I would use at a bank, but it seems like a deal for a home system.
