I have about 25 all grain batches now and have come across something that I have never seen before. I think my Barleywine that I brew it on April 22nd has started fermentation again....

Here are the key identifiers
1. I took the air lock off 5 times now and each time it starts bubbling with in 5 min.
2. There are small bubbles on the surface not like a krausen just small bubbles.
3. The SG was huge so I was not going to take any readings until 6 weeks out so I need to see if it is still dropping.
4. It has been sitting about 70-72 the whole time.

I guess the question is - Has this happened with any other peoples large beers?

The only time I had this happen was with a gusher infection. 90% attenuation with US-05 is highly suspect. If you had used Pacman, I'd be less concerned.

Take a gravity and see where it's at, it's quite possible since you keep removing the airlock, for whatever reason? That you are disturbing the beer just enough to knock some CO2 out of suspension and it's enough to make the bubbles start up again, that's my guess. If it looks and smells and tastes like beer it's fine, just quit playing around with it until its done.
