I went out to see how the three ladies are doing since I cut back their first growth a couple weeks ago, and they seem to be coming along nicely...

Looks good so far. My 2nd year hops are slow to come up, but we've had crazy "spring" weather here in the U.P. It's been freezing at night recently and even had a few days of snow. Both my hops and I are ready for spring!

My 4th year hops are coming up nicely, though. That's a hardy cascade plant that has become more of a monster each year.
