I haven't been to Maneki, regrettably. Doesn't it have the distinction of being one of, if not the oldest restaurant in Seattle? Or something? I know Wataru only because it's next to Salare. And never heard of Tsukushinbo but now I want to go.

I live pretty close to Wataru, been a couple times. Only done specific rolls and not omakase but it's really solid. I'm more of a ramen, tempura and okonomiyaki kinda guy.

Maneki has been operating for over 100 years, it's worth going. They do traditional Japanese food, not just sushi, as well as western inspired stuff. They claim to have created the spicy tuna roll.

But rauchbier!

Rauchbier will be there for weeks.

Mirage are crushing it at the moment, the Kveik IPA and Pink Mink DIPA are superior slurrypours. Yet to track down Raon Lutha but definitely ISO

What about their Saisons and pricey bottles? Have yet to fork out the $20 for a bottle. But, will be in Bellingham next weekend and could grab one. Very excited to go to garden path.

They've been around for about a year now brewing out of Lower Case's facility. Great canned IPAs and lagers/pilsners and they do large format saisons.

Their Ski Mask Helles Lager is one of my favorite beers of the year.

I don't think their beers had been in Oregon before now. Pretty much only hazy IPAs, but if you like that style they're damn good.
