I think the next logical step for me is to buy a Ranndal or build one so i can recirculate the FG beer through it after harvesting the yeast out of the bottom of the conical.

This would work in 2 ways. It would impart some more hop aroma to the beer before bottling and would act as a final yeast filter, scrub out some of the yeast but hopefully leave enough for carbonation. I'm sure this isn't a new idea so anybody that does similar please comment on ups/dpwns of this idea?
