Scotmalt? for christmas ale

The following is in a extract christmas ale recipe I want to try but I can't find the following...Is scotmalt a brand or some type of grain? I can't find this one, is there something I could substitute for it? Thanks!

0.75 lb. (0.34 kg) Scotmalt crystal malt (40 °L)

I believe that Scotmalt is the name of the company and you should be able to substitute any other brand of Crystal or Caramel 40. The flavor may change slightly.
