Being in constrction payed for......We were tearing down an old pizza joint and came across a half dozen or so corny kegs, ball taps, and CO2 bottles. The boss let me have what I wanted, so I figure I'll give kegging a try.

I do have some questions I was hoping the board could answer:

1. Do you have to keg the whole batch?
Say you wanted to bottle a twelve pack or so and keg the rest....is that ok? Or will have the added head space in the keg cause a problem.

2. Does anyone run any type of filter in the line between the faucet and the keg to pick up any floaters that might get by?

Thanks in advance for the help!

1. Just purge out the extra air space in the keg with a blast or two of co2.

2. I don't...I do use a check valve though

congats on the score! :mug:

you say you came into co2 bottles as in plural, you woudn't want to come up off one of those at a reasonable price for a fellow craftsman trying to piece together his own keg system huh??????
