I just received my sankey to ball lock conversion kit for my coupler. I am a newbie and have a few ?'s.
When I took off the gas barb that came on my new coupler I saw a white looking gasket (I think it may be check valve). My new ball lock kit came with a black flat rubber washer.....do I use the black flat rubber washer or leave the white check valve in there and not use the black rubber washer?
When attaching the new ball lock valves to the coupler posts should I put teflon tape on the posts or do the liquid and gas ball locks seal good enough tighten with wrench?
I also took off the liquid barb on the new couple and saw something inside (rubber / plastic) piece but not sure what it is and if I need to leave it in there?
