Hey all,

I bought a kegerator off Craigslist recently, and the seller threw in an empty sankey keg. It has a stamp on it for Coors Light as "COORSLT".

My questions:
-If I list it for sale, is there a market for it?
-What do they go for?
-Since it's not an "owners" keg, will Bevmo or breweries take it as a deposit?

Ideally, I'd like to trade it for a Corny ball lock, but I don't know the likelihood of that happening.

Any help is much appreciated!

PS: I'm in Sacramento CA if anyone local wants to buy/trade.

i bet you could return it for the deposit.

Technically it's owned by coors and not yours to sell, but with that said they go for about $50 in colorado. I bought one legally from a local brewery and made a keggle, split 12 gallon batches are awesome: one brew day and two 5-gallon kegs filled in the end!

Apologies, I did not know it was owned by Coors. Doesn't excuse my ignorance I suppose.

Ideas as to where I can take it back to, and possibly collect the deposit?

I have no interest in a keggle at this time, I'm an amateur brewer.

Just find out where you can buy kegged beer and call them up and ask about it. Many LHBS in my area give 30 bucks for them as they turn them into the owning brewery.
