So, with the new addition of my multi tap setup I was looking around my parts and found two Sanke couplers. Both are the older twist on style and while I dig my homebrew I was thinking I could use these if I decide I want to just buy a commercial beer instead. With that said, they are older and probably very dirty, so I am wondering how to clean them? There is a keeper on the top of the liquid line I am sure will have to come out, but my big concern is, are any of the parts under any pressure? I have two, so the first one will be more than likely the experimental one but heck, they were free so I thought why not try and clean them up to use them? Any info on this is appreciated.
And while I am thinking of it, the new tower I got has the screw in style ends to fit into the sanke style. Would you guys just replace it all at the faucet to Duotight and Evabarrier so that I can keep the sanke setup if I need it? Or would it be best to just cut off the connection and put a ball lock on it and use it that way? Obviously much cheaper to just cut the hose, but I am thinking ahead in case I want to just throw a couple of commercial kegs in once in a while.
Thanks all
