I made a starter last night (so it has been on the stir plate for about 24 hours). I ended up too busy to brew tonight. What are the opinions out there on a starter at this point? Will a 48 hour starter be fine or should I put it in the fridge?
I think it would probably be fine for 48 hours (making yeast and not beer and all that). Personally I would just stick it wherever you are planning on fermenting (not on the stir plate).
Yeah I've got a pair of big ole ferm chambers so there is always room to stick my 2L flask in somewhere. Works for me but me but maybe the more scientific-minded will have other opinions.
