Salvator

I am brewing a Salvator clone today and am a bit confused.
The bottles of Salvator I have are marked 11.2 oz. ALE. I thought Double bocks were all Lagers. Can anyone shed some light on this ? Before I pitch.

Yeah it's definitely a lager. And a delicious one.

It is a lager, however, due to the goofy laws that are in place in some areas beer above a certain ABV is required to be called "ale".

Thanks that makes perfect sense. Sparging rite now and color is dead on, first time brew for this clone.
